Lady Gaga is invited to a fundraising event honoring Orlando massacre victims.

According to a new report from OrlandoSentinel.com, Lady Gaga is one of the celebrities listed on an invitation to a fundraising event in Los Angeles on Friday Aug 19th which will honor the victims of Orlando mass shooting.

Lady Gaga, Ellen DeGeneres, Cyndi Lauper, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are all listed on an invitation to the event. However, according to the report, not all the celebrities listed will be appearing at the event with some have donated prizes that will be auctioned on websites such as CharityBuzz.com.

The event will include artists, activists, and survivors in a program that honors those taken by the tragedy with live music, speakers, and tributes to the heroes and victims of the Orlando shooting. According to Jason Felts, one of the organizers of the event, the lineup for the program is still confidential, but the list on the invitation was an indicator of who would be involved.

Lady Gaga is a well-known human rights activist who expressed sympathy to the families of the victims of the June 12 tragic shooting at a nightclub in Orlando. In a vigil held infront of the Los Angeles City Hall, Gaga calls the incident as an 'attack on humanity itself', saying, "I can't help but feel that this level of hatred, like all prejudicial crimes, this is an attack on humanity itself. This is an attack on everyone."
