Lady Gaga finally revealed the title of her fifth studio album, its release date, and many more! "I am so happy to share that the new album is coming out October 21st and it's called 'JOANNE'", Lady Gaga exclusively told radio DJ and host Zane Lowe during a phone interview earlier today with Apple Radio's Beats 1.
Lady Gaga named the album after her father Joe Germanotta's sister, Joanne Germanotta, who tragically died from lupus at the age of 19. "The decision to name the album was in tribute to my father’s sister who died when she was 19. He was younger than her. She was very sick with lupus", Gaga told Lowe.

It's everything about Joanne. it's all the toughness of the pain of losing her that made us all strong and made us who we are. She is the woman of my past who is becoming and helping me bring more of my honest woman self into the future."
Lady Gaga also confirmed that the main album will include 11 songs and it's deluxe edition will have 14 songs.
