According to a latest report from the Associated Press, Lady Gaga is teaming up with Bud Light to launch a three-stop tour on dive bars across the United States beginning on Wednesday, October 5th as part of the promotional campaign for her new album 'Joanne' which is set to come out on October 21st! Although the tour dates were already announced (October 5, 20, and 27), the tour locations remains a secret for security purposes.
According to reports, Lady Gaga is set to perform her latest single 'Perfect Illusion' and also a new song called 'Million Reasons' during the first show of the mini concert tour which will be streamed live on Bud Light's official Facebook page. The song 'Million Years', which Gaga co-wrote with the award-winning songwriter Hillary Lindsey, is just one of most-awaited tracks on her new album. Fans are also excited for 'Sinner's Prayer', a song she made with musician Father John Misty. In an exclusive interview with Lyndsey Parker of Yahoo, Lady Gaga recited the song's lyrics: "I've got a baby sister who looks just like me/And she wants nothing more than a man to please/Maybe she's in too deep/Her love for him ain't cheap/But it breaks just like a knockoff piece."
In an exclusive statement, Lady Gaga said that she loves the "more natural human experience" of the dive bar tour and that bringing people together is important to her, that's why she chose to perform at bars rather than at arenas or stadiums to promote new album. Although, Gaga will perform at tiny venues with small crowds as part of promoting her new music, she assures that there will still be "more costumes and lights and big shows" in her future during an interview with Yahoo.
The Associated Press also revealed that there will be a sneak peek of select album tracks from Lady Gaga's 'Joanne' which will be part of four television spots which will air in the United States this month.
