The National Football League began selling tickets for the upcoming 51st Annual Super Bowl since last month and the ticket prices will leave you open-mouthed!
The tickets are being sold on a website run by Ticketmaster with jaw-dropping prices that starts from $5,599 and runs up to $12,399 for the best seat. These tickets are incredibly expensive, however, the costs can still rise and fall as the game nears, depending on demand, according to ESPN.
Select : $5,599
Elite : $6,899
Premium : $10,999
Diamond : $12,399
The most expensive package includes a pass to be on the field when the game ends while all the other packages will include a pregame party and early access to the NRG Stadium, the site of the 2017 Super Bowl in Houston, Texas.
Lucky fans who can afford these enormously priced tickets will not just witness the much-awaited football championship games of NFL but will also have the chance to see Lady Gaga live on the iconic stage of the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Talking about the upcoming huge performance in a recent interview with FOX, Lady Gaga explained that the show is about 'bringing people together', saying: "For me it's all about giving to the fans and bringing people together who wouldn't usually come together."
If you are looking for cheaper ticket prices, you can visit secondary market sites like StubHub. The cheapest ticket on StubHub is around $3,300 which is more than $2,000 cheaper than the cheapest ticket that you can find on NFL's official hospitality partner 'NFL On Location'. However, StubHub only promises zones of the stadium.
