An exclusive report from Headline Planet has confirmed that Lady Gaga's previously announced 'Joanne' promo single 'Million Reasons' is now her official next single from her new album and the official radio follow-up to 'Perfect Illusion'.
Earlier this week, Lady Gaga's label Interscope Records announces 'A-Yo' as the next single. However, after 'Million Reasons' appears to have more flattering metrics compared to 'A-Yo', Interscope opted to move forward with 'Million Reasons' as the next single. The song, which was co-produced with songwriter Hillary Lindsey, recently topped the US iTunes sales chart.
According to Headline Planet, 'A-Yo' may still receive a radio campaign, but 'Million Reasons' takes over as the current priority for Lady Gaga's team.
Meanwhile, HITS Daily Double is now reporting an even higher sales figure for Lady Gaga's new album 'Joanne'. According to the American music industry trade publication, the album debuts at No. 1 on the Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart in the US with 199,000 total units and 168,000 pure album sales! The album is also expected to debut at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart this Sunday, October 30th!
