Bobby Campbell: 'Lady Gaga is training for the Super Bowl just like an athlete.'

In less than a week, Lady Gaga will headline the biggest music stage, the 51st Super Bowl halftime show. And while she and her team are now in Houston, Texas for final rehearsals, Pepsi exclusively shared another behind-the-scenes look at Gaga's preparation.

In the video, Lady Gaga's manager Bobby Campbell speaks about the much-awaited event. "She's training for this just like an athlete. She stops at nothing to deliver a once in a lifetime performance," he said about Gaga. "This is the type of performance that you'll owe a whole lifetime for. And there's no question that she's absolutely made for this moment."

He continued: "She has a heart that speaks in everything she does and we want to bring everyone together for that twelve and a half minutes to celebrate the game, the athletes, the sport."

Lady Gaga is silent about the details surrounding her upcoming performance, however, in a recent radio interview with MIX 104.1, she talks about working with NFL and her preparation for the show. "There's a lengthy process to go through, meeting with the NFL and sort of applying and discussing what you would do in the first place. I think that part of how they decide who is going to come and do the halftime show is based on our ideas and what we want to do," Gaga told the radio.

"They were really excited about the show we wanted to put on. They've been super supportive. They've been there every day at the rehearsal space with us, cheering me on as we rehearse."

Lady Gaga also explained how she and her team wants to convey an important message to the fans during the show. "We sit down and talk about what we want to say to the world and what we want the world to feel that day and say to each other," She said. "We talk a lot about the tremendous honor that it is to have that kind of a voice. We ruminate with everyone's ideas and then we put the best ones together."

The 51st Super Bowl is set to take place at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on February 5th. A Super Bowl press conference will be held this Thursday, February 2nd where Lady Gaga is set to take a part.
