Lady Gaga will deliver a special performance at the 89th Annual Academy Awards!

 

According to a latest report from Canyon News, Lady Gaga is reportedly set to deliver a special performance at the Oscars this Sunday, February 26th!

 

This will going to be Gaga's third time to perform at the awards ceremony following her well-reviewed tribute performance of 'The Sound of Music' in 2015 and her heartfelt performance of her Oscar nominated song 'Till It Happens To You' in 2016.

During this year's Oscars, Lady Gaga will also help launch 'The Love Project', a campaign ad by Revlon which is said to encourage viewers to "help love grow in the world". She announces her involvement on the project on Thursday by tweeting a 30-second clip featuring black-and-white footage of different kinds of relationships — romantic, platonic, and familial. The ad is reportedly directed by Brett Ratner, one of the top Hollywood filmmakers.

 

 

The 89th Annual Academy Awards is set to take place in Dolby Theater in Los Angeles this Sunday. The show will start at 8pm EST and is set to be televised live on ABC. Other performers include John Legend, Sting, and Justin Timberlake.
