Lady Gaga will make history when she performs at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival this weekend, marking a decade since a solo woman has been billed as a headliner on the prestigious musical stage.
Beyonce had been slated to headline the festival in Indio, California, but backed out because she's pregnant with twins. She then replaced by Lady Gaga who is set to perform on April 15 and 22.
As the anticipation grows for the upcoming performance, numerous rumours about Gaga's Coachella setlist have surfaced online. According to a latest report from HollywoodLife, Lady Gaga is planning a surprise particularly for Beyoncé fans who were devastated that Bey had to cancel her Coachella performances on doctor's orders.
"Lady Gaga is ready for Coachella and is figuring out some surprises to do for her shows," an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com. "People who are still disappointed that Beyonce will not be there still might get a taste of Beyonce during Gaga's performances."
Also according to the report, aside from singing their famous collaborative hit single 'Telephone', Gaga is also planning to perform a medley of Beyoncé hits during the show. The website wrote: "Along with singing 'Telephone', Gaga is trying to figure out what classic Beyonce songs she could do for a medley during her show. It is going to be an impressive show all around as Gaga wants to make it different from her regular tour set. She wants to make the surprises memorable and worth it."
